Ionic columnAfter exploring Stockholm, Berlin, Prague and Budapest, we finally got to relax. Sun, sea and islands made Greece feel like a vacation from our vacation.

We spent a full two weeks there, but we could have easily spent longer. Athens is a splendid metropolis with a lot to offer, the mainland has a wealth of places to explore, and visitors to Greece will never run out of idyllic islands. We even had a chance to hike up an active volcano during our stay.

Below I've divided the trip into five basic subsections, with a bonus section dedicated to photos of the predominent residents of the country (cats).
